Our aims and objectives are the main imperatives which led to OBOCOTRUST NGO being set up as a voluntary non-profit and non-governmental organization and a vehicle through which we can develop community cohesion and also source national and international charitable grants, philanthropist and voluntary donations from benefactors to help improve the community and its neighbouring areas.
Financial support, expertise engagement and advice and volunteer participation are what we pray for to make good things happen. God help us.

Our Foundations
Community Developement
The Foundation for Development is the cornerstone of everything we wish to achieve as our community needs massive development being neglected like many towns and villages in Ghana.
The little good things around us have been achieved by our community’s own efforts and determination and have been used for decades so some are obsolete, in disrepair or out of date, dangerous to use and primitive.
Health Care
Our Foundation for Health will focus on programmes to improve the health of our community and enhance healthcare provision at our community clinic. We will embark on educational programmes on healthy living which will provide information on diseases, their causes and how they can be prevented. We all fall ill at some point in life so we will focus our health programmes on awareness, prevention, nutrition, dieting and physical activities which will help to bring about healthy living and also help the community to understand how diseases like diabetes, stroke, prostate and cancer affect them and treatments available.
Education
Strikingly, almost all the leaders of OBOCO TRUST NGO and our chiefs went through our community schools of Aboase-Obohen Methodist and District Authority lower and upper schools. The schools were poor in facilities, books and teaching materials but largely we had good teachers who did everything to maintain good achievements. The problems of economic hardships and lack of development were even worse but pupils studied well. In 1968 our Odzikro, Nana Ando Kofi IV and also our CEO, Egya Obo were among ten pupils who achieved distinction results/certificates on MSL exams which is a record not yet broken.
Youth Engagement ,training and
Empowerment
The youths are the future for any society. This is true but how can we endow our youths the skills which they need as they grow to become successful adults?
The youths of our community have one thing appreciable; they love the community and are active in weekly communal labour cleaning around and also helping out at our Day Nursery project. However, the youths need direction, mentoring and encouragement to train in skills which will lead to employment and economic activities.
Our community in fact has a number of expertise in carpentry, masonry and electricals having in the past embraced skills training offered at nearby Biriwa Vocational School.
